In waldronlab/MicrobiomeBenchmarkData: Datasets for benchmarking in microbiome research

Character delimited files in extdata:

• datasets.tsv. This file was manually generated based on the characteristics of the datasets. It will be manually updated when new datasets are added to the package. The sizes of the datasets were based on the Zenodo repository for the MicrobiomeBenchmarkData package: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.6911027

• metadata.csv. This file was manually generated based on the BioConductor template for AnnotationHub packages as described here. This file will be manually update when new datasets are added to the pacakge. Information about the datasets can be found at the Zenodo repository for the MicrobiomeBenchmarkData package: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.6911027

Scirpt files contained in this directory (scripts):

• sampleMetadata.R contains the code to generate the sampleMetadata object exported by the MicrobiomeBenchmarkData package.

• sysdata.R contains the code to generate the 'metadata' and 'titles' objects used internally by the MicrobiomeBenchmarkData package.
