Distribution of raw signal (log10)
If the raw signal follow more or less the negative binomial distribution,
then you can choose the parametric negative binomial differential testing using
'edgeR' package. If the distribution do not follow the negative binomial
distribution, it is safer to use the non-parametric Wilcoxon differential
testing.
